Leonia High School’s official student newspaper, The Leonian, prohibited this article from being published in full. Sections of writing and images were omitted or edited last minute, without notice—all under “Charles Kalender Walks Out of ‘Slanted’ Interview” was deleted—and several proposed revisions were rejected.
Since the November release of The Leonian, this article has been updated, now including more interviews and coverage of the administration’s latest initiative: the closure of all but two bathrooms.
